The Jordanian Armed Forces carried out seven humanitarian airdrops over Gaza on Sunday, delivering 61 tonnes of food and aid in cooperation with several allied nations. The operation reflects Jordan’s ongoing efforts to support the people of Gaza amid worsening living conditions.
The mission involved two aircraft from the Royal Jordanian Air Force, two from Germany, one from the UAE, one from France, and one from Belgium. The airdrops were part of an international coordination effort to ensure swift humanitarian relief to the besieged population.
A delegation from the Senate’s National Guidance and Media Committee accompanied the operation to observe Jordan’s relief efforts. The members praised Jordan’s leadership and affirmed their pride in King Abdullah II’s steadfast support for Palestinians and their cause.
To date, the Jordanian Armed Forces have conducted 421 airdrops, including 284 joint operations with partner countries. Since resuming aerial deliveries last week, nearly 262 tonnes of aid have been dropped into Gaza.
