Public Works Ministry announced Sunday completion of expansion and construction of main road leading to Prince Faisal bin Al Hussein Sports Complex in Karak, now fully open to traffic.

Project widened existing 730-metre road to 10 metres and added new 330-metre section. Works included excavation, filling, base layers, culverts, asphalt paving, markings and painting.

Road aims to ease access to new sports facilities, support tourism and sports sectors, provide safe routes for visitors, boost investment and promote healthy lifestyle.

Ministry said project part of efforts to modernise road network and link key national facilities with safe, modern transport.
