Ministry of Industry, Trade and Supply spokesman Ninal Al-Barmawi said daily market monitoring shows a clear decline in most meat prices, both local and imported, ranging between 3% and 7%.

Al-Barmawi told Al-Mamlaka that most local meat types have fallen in recent weeks, with the trend expected to continue in the coming days.

He noted that price differences between shops are healthy, reflecting market competition, which the ministry aims to maintain for consumers’ benefit.

Al-Barmawi added that market offers are monitored and verified by the ministry and confirmed genuine. Legal action is taken against anyone violating laws and regulations to regulate and control the local market.
