The Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan won two gold awards at the Official Participants Awards ceremony organized by the Bureau International des Expositions (BIE) as part of Expo 2025 Osaka. The awards recognized Jordan’s excellence in Content Development and Sustainability within the Category B (medium-sized pavilions).
Jordan was the only country to receive two gold awards in this year’s edition, reflecting its distinction in sustainable design, innovation, and rich cultural storytelling that embodies the Jordanian identity with a modern vision.
Dr. Abdulrazzaq Arabiyat, Commissioner General of the Jordan Pavilion, described the achievement as a source of national pride, highlighting the efforts of the team and the creativity of Jordanian youth.

The Official Participants Awards honour excellence in architecture, design, content development, and sustainability. Jordan’s pavilion stood out for its innovative integration of heritage and modernity, combining immersive interactive media with sustainable design to showcase the country’s natural beauty and environmental and cultural diversity.
Jordan’s double gold victory came amid strong competition from over 165 participating countries, reaffirming its position as a distinguished cultural and tourism destination internationally.
