King Abdullah II left Jordan Monday for Egypt to lead the Jordanian delegation at the Sharm El-Sheikh Peace Summit.

The summit, co-chaired by Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi and U.S. President Donald Trump, brings together regional leaders to work on ending the Gaza war and advancing peace, stability, and security in the region.

The Jordanian delegation includes Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi, and King’s Office Director Eng. Alaa Al-Bataineh.

Crown Prince Faisal bin Al Hussein took the constitutional oath as deputy to the King in a ceremony attended by the Cabinet.
