Prime Minister Bisher Al-Khasawneh will begin an official visit to Japan on Thursday, during which he will hold discussions with Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida on bilateral relations between the two countries and ways to support and enhance them in all fields.

Al-Khasawneh's visit to Japan also aims to hold political discussions on issues of common concern and the situation in the region, especially with regard to the ongoing Israeli aggression against the Gaza Strip, intensify efforts to reach an immediate ceasefire, deliver humanitarian aid in a sustainable manner, and work to find a political horizon for the Palestinian issue, ensuring Establishing an independent Palestinian state within the framework of the two-state solution and relevant international legitimacy resolutions.
