The Ministry of Transport revealed a project to rehabilitate the infrastructure of the departure and arrival centers in the governorates and districts and provide them with facilities according to technical standards that ensure the provision of appropriate services to the parties of the transportation process. The rehabilitation includes the departure and arrival centers in each of Salt, Wadi Musa, Ramtha, Zarqa, and the southern Jordan Valley complexes. (Al-Safi and Al-Mazraa), Giza Bus Complex, Naour Bus Complex.
According to the strategic plan for the transportation sector for the years 2024-2028, which the Kingdom reviewed, the time period of the project is from 2023 to 2027, and its value is 25 million dinars, without land acquisition and additional studies.
The strategy indicated that all the main centers in the governorates have been completed except (Balqa and Zarqa), where each of the departure and arrival centers (Mafraq, Irbid, Jerash, Ajloun, Madaba, Ma’an, Karak, and Tafila) have been rehabilitated, and studies have been completed. And the engineering plans for the departure and arrival centers in the districts (Ramtha, Inner Petra, Northern Irbid, Giza, Tafila Expansion, Outer Petra, and the Southern Jordan Valley (Al-Safi and Al-Mazraa)).
The strategy revealed a project to implement a study on establishing modern bus service areas near the King Hussein Bridge crossing, during the time period 2024-2026, at a value of 1.5 million dinars, with the aim of developing the infrastructure and providing modern transportation services to passengers and drivers.

She indicated that there is a project to provide transportation services to industrial cities, during the time period 2024-2027, explaining that the role of the Ministry of Transport/Land Transport Regulatory Authority is to provide a service to transport workers in industrial cities to and from companies/institutions operating in the targeted industrial areas and in cooperation with the Ministry of Labor. .
Regarding the use of alternative energy, the strategy indicated that there is a project to operate green electric buses for tourist transportation in the city of Petra and the archaeological and tourist areas surrounding it during the time period 2023-2025, with a value of 5 million dinars, with the aim of stimulating and accelerating the promotion of electric mobility in tourist areas in Jordan.
She talked about the feasibility study of using green hydrogen as an alternative to fossil energy (produced by electrolysis of water into the elements hydrogen and oxygen, without any by-products) as an energy alternative, explaining that it is environmentally sustainable, storeable, multi-use and transportable.
