The Jordan Olympic Committee has renewed its sponsorship agreement with Zain Jordan for the ninth consecutive year, making the company the golden sponsor of the committee and the main sponsor of the Olympic Preparation Program. This renewal continues Zain’s various forms of support for distinguished Jordanian athletes, preparing them for various international sports competitions.
The agreement was renewed on Tuesday at Zain’s headquarters, signed by Dr. Sari Hamdan, Vice President of the Jordan Olympic Committee, and Fahad Al Jasem, the CEO of Zain Jordan.
This collaboration is part of Zain’s commitment to supporting the sports and youth sector in the Kingdom, contributing to more sports achievements and competing at all levels. It also continues the company’s ongoing support for various sectors, embodying the royal visions and coinciding with the silver jubilee of His Majesty King Abdullah II bin Al Hussein’s accession to the throne, the first supporter of sports and youth in the Kingdom.
Dr. Sari Hamdan, Vice President of the Jordan Olympic Committee, praised the ongoing partnership between the committee and Zain Jordan, highlighting its importance in supporting the sports sector and assisting Jordanian athletes in achieving excellence in various championships and sports events.
Dr. Sari stated, “We value the significant role played by Zain Jordan in supporting Jordanian sports through programs and initiatives of great importance for elevating the status of sports in Jordan and their constant efforts to motivate Jordanian athletes through multiple grants and support, fulfilling the aspirations of the Jordan Olympic Committee and aligning with our ambitions to always place Jordanian sports in its deserved position.”
Under this agreement, Zain provides financial support to the Jordan Olympic Committee, in addition to 15 scholarships for athletes benefiting from the committee’s programs and the Olympic Preparation Program. The collaboration also includes joint efforts in empowering youth and women and working towards more inclusivity in programs and initiatives to reach various groups, including local community women, people with disabilities, and other targeted categories.
