Queen Rania Al Abdullah holds an iftar for women in Jerash Governorate

Today, Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah held an iftar banquet for a number of women’s events in Jerash Governorate.

In the presence of the Governor of Jerash, Dr. Firas Al-Faour, Her Majesty the Queen expressed her love for Jerash and its people by saying, “Jerash is beautiful by nature, its history, and its antiquities, but what is sweeter than all of this is its people, its people, and its women.”

She added, “Today we are with a group of distinguished and capable Jordanian women, and each one of them has a story of giving in her work and in her home.”

For his part, the Governor of Jerash thanked Her Majesty the Queen for this Ramadan gesture and for her efforts and initiatives to serve local communities.
