Royal Court Chief Yousef Hassan Al-Issawi received a student delegation from Al-Sarmad Schools representing the "National Charter Initiative," alongside a delegation of youth from the Naour District, in two separate meetings on Monday, April 20, 2026.
During the meetings, Al-Issawi highlighted the vision of His Majesty King Abdullah II, emphasizing that Jordan is moving forward with a comprehensive modernization project aimed at enhancing state efficiency, political participation, and youth empowerment. He noted that His Majesty leads an active diplomatic approach that prioritizes national interests and strengthens Jordan's global presence.
Al-Issawi underlined that the King and HRH Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II view the youth as the cornerstone of the modernization process. He called for a qualitative shift in youth empowerment, placing them in positions of influence and decision-making. He also praised the pivotal roles of Her Majesty Queen Rania Al-Abdullah in developing the education sector and the Crown Prince in fostering innovation and entrepreneurship.
The Royal Court Chief lauded the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army and security agencies as the nation’s "impenetrable shield," emphasizing their role in protecting stability amid regional challenges. He reaffirmed Jordan's steadfast commitment to the Palestinian cause and the historic Hashemite Custodianship over Islamic and Christian holy sites in Jerusalem.
The "National Charter Initiative" delegation presented a youth-led document rooted in national heritage and aligned with royal visions for political and economic reform. They affirmed their loyalty to the Hashemite leadership and their commitment to the unified national identity.
Similarly, the delegation from Naour, in a meeting attended by the King’s Advisor for Tribal Affairs, Kniean Al-Balwi, expressed their unwavering support for the leadership and state institutions. They described Jordan as a model for transforming challenges into opportunities and shared several proposals aimed at enhancing the role of youth in the development and modernization of the Naour district.
