I believe Donald Trump has become convinced that his Republican Party faces the risk of losing the upcoming midterm elections, and that he needs an extraordinary event to reshuffle the deck and shift the mood of the American electorate.
Hence, I do not rule out that Trump might take an unconventional step, or perhaps a major gamble, if convinced through his advisors' assessments that it could restore the political and popular momentum he requires.
I believe Iran will be at the heart of these calculations—whether through military escalation, a major political confrontation, or even a surprise agreement that he attempts to market as a historic victory.
I cannot say with certainty what will happen, but I believe the coming phase may bring surprises that transcend traditional calculations, especially if Trump feels that time is running short.
We observe, wait, and watch, for what lies ahead may well differ from what many expect.
