— U.S. President Donald Trump stated on Friday that Iran intends to present an offer aimed at satisfying American demands.
"They are going to make an offer, and we will see what happens," Trump said, adding that he does not yet know the specifics of the proposal. When asked who the United States is negotiating with, Trump responded: "I don't want to say that, but we are dealing with the people who are in charge now."
Meanwhile, the White House announced that Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has arrived in Islamabad. U.S. envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner are scheduled to arrive in Pakistan on Saturday to conduct a new round of talks with Iran aimed at ending the war.
White House spokesperson Karoline Leavitt told Fox News: "I can confirm that Special Envoy Witkoff and Jared Kushner will head to Pakistan tomorrow morning for talks... with representatives of the Iranian delegation." She also noted that Vice President J.D. Vance is not expected to be part of the delegation for this trip.
