In the presence of experts, journalists, and tourism sector representatives, attendees emphasized the importance of continued joint efforts to strengthen this vital sector amidst regional and international challenges.

Government Support: Senator Sharhabeel Madi stressed the need to continue domestic tourism promotion programs through the summer. He called for increased government support for the Ministry of Tourism, the Jordan Tourism Board, and the Aqaba and Petra authorities until international movement returns to previous levels.
Rising Domestic Awareness: Restaurant industry expert Khaled Ayman noted that domestic tourism among citizens has reached high levels, reflecting advanced awareness of the importance of supporting the national economy. He praised the Ministry's programs and the private sector's role in offering encouraging prices.
The Private Sector's Role: Hotel investment expert Firas Al-Bashir highlighted that while official efforts are appreciated, hotels, resorts, and tourism companies play a pivotal role in attracting domestic visitors and absorbing the impact of declining foreign tourism.
Economic Impact: Hassan Madi, a member of the Jordan Restaurant and Hotel Association, stated that the growth in domestic tourism has positively impacted the performance of tourist facilities. He attributed this to the attractive packages and bundles offered by the sector.
Media Contribution: Journalists Ammar Al-Saqour (Al-Rai) and Laith Al-Assaf (Ad-Dustour) affirmed that the media has been a central partner in highlighting initiatives and programs that encourage citizens to choose local destinations.
