Middle East University, home to the Jordan Universities Sports Federation headquarters, hosted the Women’s Futsal Championship over five consecutive days. The tournament, organized by the Federation, featured participation from 15 public and private universities representing various governorates across the Kingdom.
The championship results were as follows:
First Place: Al-Balqa Applied University (Title Winner)
Second Place: Jordan University of Science and Technology
Third Place: University of Jordan and Yarmouk University (Shared)
At the conclusion of the competitions, University President Professor Salam Al-Mahadin presented medals and trophies to the winning teams and students. The ceremony was attended by Dr. Hazem Ali Al-Nusour, Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Khalaf Al-Khatatneh, Dean of Student Affairs at Al-Balqa Applied University, along with several specialists and university representatives.
The university emphasized that the championship solidified concepts of fair play and collective discipline. The matches reflected the technical development of Jordanian university sports and the growing presence of women's athletics within the academic environment as a path for empowerment and active participation
