​What occurred in the town of Till, south of Nablus, on Friday morning was a horrific massacre in which five citizens were martyred and a large number of the town’s residents were injured. The town has become a target for the terrorist practices of settler herds, armed by the terrorist Netanyahu-Smotrich-Ben Gvir government, which provided them with all capabilities to escalate their attacks against Palestinian citizens in the towns and villages of the West Bank countryside.  

​On a blessed Friday morning, terrorist settlers attacked two homes in the eastern area of the town. The residents confronted them and forced them to withdraw. Half an hour later, these terrorists returned once again to attack the western area of the town, leading to physical clashes between the residents on one side, and the terrorist settlers and occupation soldiers who stormed the area to provide them with protection on the other side, amidst random gunfire and turning the town and its surroundings into a closed military zone.  

​Prior to this horrific massacre in the town of Till, three citizens, including a child, were injured by Israeli occupation army gunfire in the town of Beit Furik, east of Nablus. Meanwhile, a Palestinian citizen was martyred near the Haddad roundabout east of Jenin, and another citizen at the Shuafat camp checkpoint northeast of occupied Jerusalem, bringing the number of martyrs since the beginning of this year to 82 citizens, including 21 by the gunfire of Ben Gvir's terrorist youth.  

​Occupation soldiers are exploiting the conditions of the aggressive war on Iran and the global public opinion's preoccupation with this war and its repercussions, finding it easy to pull the trigger. Working jointly with terrorist settlers, they are locking relations with Palestinians in the West Bank into a bloody security cycle whose objective has become clear: committing more crimes within the context of an apartheid, displacement, and ethnic cleansing policy that desecrates the Palestinian countryside and besieges its people in enclaves preached by the Settlement Minister in the Ministry of Defense as part of his plan to decisive the conflict with the Palestinian people—a policy receiving full support from the Prime Minister of the occupation government, Benjamin Netanyahu.  

​Locking relations with Palestinians into a bloody security cycle that does not spare even children is no longer hidden from anyone, neither regionally nor internationally. In its latest report, Save the Children revealed figures that shocked the humanitarian and international public, confirming the displacement of more than 1,000 Palestinian children during the first half of this year alone. The organization stated in a press release that the number of displaced children represents half of the total number of children forced by settler violence to leave their homes over the previous three years, with nearly 2,000 children forcibly displaced between January 2023 and December 2025.  

​As for settler terrorism, it is in continuous escalation. According to the United Nations, the rate of settler attacks rose by 45% in the first half of 2026 compared to the same period last year, with more than 1,020 terrorist acts recorded since January, up from 757 attacks during the first six months of 2025. Furthermore, a UN Commission of Inquiry (COI), formed by the Human Rights Council on May 27, 2021, confirmed that settler violence is state-directed, and that the Israeli government and occupation army are directly involved in acts of killing, terrorism, and terrorizing Palestinian citizens. Regarding these acts of killing and terrorism, UN data revealed that approximately 569 Palestinians were injured by settlers since the beginning of the year, compared to about 833 in 2025, 362 in 2024, and 376 in 2023. The international organization added that since October 2023, attacks by the Israeli army and settlers have escalated, resulting in the martyrdom of 1,181 Palestinians, the injury of nearly 13,000, and the arrest of approximately 24,000, according to official data as of July 7.  

​In the face of this appalling situation, it is now required, before it is too late, for the Palestinian side to rebuild relations with the State of Israel considering it a state of terrorism, apartheid, and ethnic cleansing, in accordance with the resolutions of the Palestinian National Council and successive sessions of the Palestinian Central Council, and to begin preparing for comprehensive national disobedience against the occupation. Concerned Arab countries maintaining relations with the occupation state are also required to act and, at a minimum, withdraw their ambassadors and missions from Tel Aviv. Furthermore, UN Secretary-General António Guterres, who is an honorable person, is required to move and work toward activating the international protection system for the Palestinian people to face the Israeli killing machine and war crimes committed by the occupation army and the terrorist Netanyahu-Smotrich-Ben Gvir militias.
