On the third night of the 40th edition of the Jerash Festival, amidst the packed tiers of the South Theater, Sultan El-Tarab George Wassouf performed a concert eagerly awaited by the fans of "Abu Wadea."
Following a three-year absence from the South Theater stage, Wassouf returned to rekindle the longing and nostalgia held by his admirers, crafting a historic night in the hearts of his fans.
Accompanied by his orchestra led by Lebanese maestro Elie El-Alia, Sultan El-Tarab presented the Jerash audience with an evening of classic music, delivering a selection of timeless classics and beloved songs that the audience knew by heart.
Amidst a massive crowd that filled the stands of the South Theater—not to mention a large turnout gathered outside the venue—cheers echoed hours before the began. The audience displayed immense longing to meet the king of their hearts. Sultan El-Tarab made his appearance with the song "Ya Bay'een El-Hawa," with the audience passionately singing along to the voice they had yearned to hear live.
Wassouf then welcomed the Jerash audience and his dedicated fans, who had waited years to gather with him on this special night. Despite his physical fatigue, Sultan El-Tarab did not deprive his admirers of an unforgettable evening destined to remain vivid in their memories.

Abu Wadea continued his musical showcase with songs like "Khasart Kol El-Nas," "Bistanna Bil-Yowm Wal-Yowmein," "Qalb El-Ashaq Daleeloh," and "Irda Bil-Naseeb."
He further enchanted the audience with the classic "Helween Min Yowmna Wallah" and generously fulfilled the crowd's requests with another bouquet of cherished songs rendered in his signature voice—a voice that has accompanied them through their nostalgia, longings, and milestones.
He carried the evening forward with a lineup of hits including "Jarahoona," "Hadd Yinsa Qalboh," "Keda Kefayah," and "Kalam El-Nas," which the audience sang along to with immense enthusiasm.
George Wassouf bid farewell to the Jerash audience with a final group of iconic songs etched into the hearts of his fans, including "Halaf El-Qamar" and "Ay Dam'at Huzn La."
