The Jordanian band Autostrad, conducted by Maestro Haitham Sukkarieh, illuminated the North Theater with a contemporary musical concert as part of the 2026 Jerash Festival activities in its 40th edition, amidst a notable public presence.
The band enjoyed exceptional engagement from the audience, who sang along to tunes of a selection of their famous songs, such as: "Arkadh A'al Jeem," "Al-Beer," "Mersal," "Safer," "Ana Bukra Mu'attal," "Kanabayah," "Istanna Shway," "Rahat Ya Khal," and "Al-Ahruf Al-Abjadiyyah."
Musician Ahmad Al-Silawi from the band Octave joined Autostrad to perform traditional "Mijwiz" songs in a fresh, youthful style—including "Ruddi Sha'ratki"—as a collaborative blend highlighting the versatility of Jordanian art.
At the conclusion of the concert, the band members expressed their gratitude to the audience, praising their enthusiastic interaction and refined artistic taste throughout the celebration.
It is worth noting that Autostrad is considered one of the most prominent musical groups in Jordan, enjoying immense popularity among the Jordanian public, particularly the youth.
