The Artemis Theater continued hosting its distinguished performances blending music, song, folk dances, and poetry recitations during its third evening showcase. The venue hosted the Alzaytoonah University Troupe, comprising a number of university students, who performed a selection of national and folk songs, dabke, and folkloric dances. They sang beloved titles such as "Billah Tasobbo Hal-Qahwah W Zeedoha Heil," "Ruddi Sha'ratki," and "Mar'iyyah Ya Al-Bint Mar'iyyah," among other songs, amidst passionate engagement from the attending audience.
Akram Al-Qa'dani, lead singer of the university troupe, performed several songs, supported by a striking performance from Alzaytoonah University's dabke troupe.
Sireen Abdel Rahman, supervisor of the troupe, confirmed Alzaytoonah University's dedication to nurturing student talents and providing full support to showcase their capabilities, aiming to build a conscious, cultured generation with diverse creative energies.
Following the arrival of Jerash Festival Director Yazan Al-Khdeir, accompanied by the Head of the Jerash Municipal Committee, Mohammad Bani Yaseen, the poetry evening organized by the Poetry Committee of the Jerash Municipality—headed by Dr. Ali Al-Hawamdeh—commenced. Participating poets included Mohammad Khdeir, Harbi Al-Masri, Musa Hawamdeh, and Khaled Al-Qaisi, introduced on stage by Dr. Maram Abu Al-Nai. The poets delivered a collection of human, romantic, and emotional poems, along with works addressing societal issues, in an engaging and fluid style.
Jerash Festival Director Yazan Al-Khdeir delivered a brief address, greeting the poets and emphasizing that the cultural program is an integral component of the Jerash Festival, noting that the poets added a special flavor to the festivities.
The Artemis Theater evening—emceed by Huda Mbaideen—concluded with a medley of Jordanian folk songs, heritage music, and traditional dabkes performed by the Al-Nakheel Culture and Arts Troupe hailing from Aqaba. The troupe delighted the audience with traditional Samer, Sahjah, and Dabke performances. Troupe director Mohammad Kreishan expressed his and the members' joy at participating in the event, emphasizing how it reflects authentic Jordanian heritage.
