NABLUS — Dozens of Israeli settlers launched a violent assault on the Palestinian village of Jalud, located south of Nablus in the occupied West Bank, setting fire to homes, vehicles, and private property.
The Israeli military confirmed the incident, reporting that more than 100 settlers gathered in the area, blocked local roads, burned tires, and hurled stones at military forces deployed to the scene.
Local sources confirmed that during the rampage, settlers targeted residential structures belonging to the Toubasi family, setting fire to houses and causing extensive damage to property.
The escalation in Jalud coincides with intensified Israeli military deployments across the northern West Bank amidst heightened security tensions and recurring settler violence against local Palestinian communities.
