AMMAN — Border Guard forces stationed in the Northern Military Zone thwarted an infiltration attempt by four individuals along one of the Kingdom's frontier sectors on Friday, according to a statement released by the Jordan Armed Forces–Arab Army (JAF).
Border Guard personnel detected the suspects attempting to cross the international border illegally and applied established rules of engagement, securing their arrest without permitting entry into Jordanian territory.
The apprehended individuals were subsequently handed over to competent authorities for necessary legal procedures. The JAF reaffirmed that its border units remain vigilant in safeguarding the Kingdom's frontiers against infiltration attempts and illicit border activity.
