AMMAN — Al-Ahliyya Amman University (AAU) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the "Our Intelligence is Human" initiative, developer of the AI-powered Arabic answer engine Jeem.ai. The partnership aims to enhance joint cooperation across artificial intelligence, digital transformation, scientific research, and technical development while involving university students in collaborative programs designed to serve researchers and the broader academic community.
The agreement was signed on behalf of AAU by University President Prof. Ahmad Hamdan, and on behalf of the "Our Intelligence is Human" initiative by its founder, Mr. Saeed Saif Ahmad Al Ghurair.
The signing ceremony was attended by Chairman of the Board of Directors Dr. Maher Al-Hourani, University Advisor Prof. Sari Hamdan, Dean of the Faculty of Information Technology Prof. Moath Al-Hourani, Arena Complex Director Mr. Nader Suweidan, and Mr. Hussam Al-Sayed. Representatives from the "Our Intelligence is Human" initiative included Chief Business Officer Mr. Abdel Qader Al-Talli, Senior AI Engineer Dr. Maria Habib, Research and Development Researcher Eng. Inas Rassas, Strategic Content Advisor Mr. Khalid Al-Ahmad, and intern Ali Erekat.
The MoU establishes a framework for developing joint scientific, research, and training programs while creating opportunities for university students to engage directly with emerging AI technologies. Under the terms of the memorandum, the partnership will study Arab user behavior—specifically among youth and university students—regarding AI tools, evaluate the specific search and information retrieval needs of students, researchers, and academic staff, identify technological gaps in existing tools, and gather operational user feedback on the Jeem.ai platform.
AAU President Prof. Ahmad Hamdan emphasized the importance of the agreement in supporting the university’s strategy to integrate AI models into higher education and academic research, noting that the collaboration opens new avenues for students to contribute to regional digital solutions. Founder of the "Our Intelligence is Human" initiative Saeed Saif Ahmad Al Ghurair highlighted that partnering with AAU will enable developers to build a deeper understanding of Arab user requirements and refine technical applications using academic feedback.
