AMMAN — Within the framework of its commitment to corporate social responsibility and its ongoing efforts to support sustainability and environmental preservation, Cairo Amman Bank—the main sponsor of the "Healthy Environment Against Cancer" initiative—organized an environmental day in cooperation with the King Hussein Cancer Foundation. This event forms part of the initiative's activities aimed at raising awareness about the importance of a healthy environment and its role in improving quality of life while reducing environmental factors linked to cancer risks.
The event took place near Al-Karameh Dam in the city of Salt, with broad participation from bank employees who contributed to a range of environmental and voluntary activities. This activity comes as part of the initiatives supported by Cairo Amman Bank under its primary sponsorship, reinforcing its keenness to back national efforts aimed at spreading environmental and health awareness and encouraging sustainable practices that contribute to providing a healthier environment for individuals and communities.
The bank emphasized that its participation in this initiative reflects its commitment to supporting initiatives with a positive and sustainable impact, while fostering employee involvement in voluntary and community activities, in alignment with its corporate social responsibility strategy and Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles.
