Spokesperson for the Coalition Forces Major General Turki Al-Malki stated that coalition forces intercepted and destroyed one ballistic missile targeting Khamis Mushait, alongside two additional ballistic missiles directed toward the capital, Riyadh.
Saudi Civil Defense reported Thursday that debris resulting from the interception of a ballistic missile over Riyadh caused material damage to a local kindergarten and medical clinics in the capital, with no casualties reported from the falling fragments.
Reuters quoted an eyewitness and three informed sources stating that smoke was seen rising from a parked aircraft at Riyadh Airport on Thursday.
